Story Tips and News Leads
Got a story we should be reporting? Tell us.
Include what you know, how you know it, and how we can verify it. Documents and recordings strengthen tips — attach what you have or describe what exists.
If we publish a story based on your tip and you want a byline, tell us; if you want to stay anonymous, tell us that too.
Sensitive tip? Read the next section before you write.
Sensitive Tips and Source Protection
If publishing what you know could put your job, your safety, or your liberty at risk — do not use ordinary email.
UAN World maintains secure channels for confidential sources. We protect sources legally and operationally, and we resist demands to identify them. See our Source Protection Statement for our full commitments, and use one of the following channels instead of standard contact:
- Signal. Number published on the Source Protection page. Treat it as confidential.
- Anonymous contributor portal. Launching with the Contributor Intake release. Submit material without revealing your identity to us.
- Encrypted Telegram tip-line. For fast, low-friction tips from sensitive environments.
We will never ask you to identify yourself before we will listen.
Editorial Feedback, Corrections, and Right of Reply
If you believe we got something wrong, missed context, or misrepresented you or your organisation, tell us. We correct errors transparently and on the record — see our Corrections Policy and our Editorial Standards.
Please include the article URL, the specific claim you are challenging, and any evidence supporting your account. We acknowledge corrections requests within 48 hours.
If you are the subject of an upcoming story and have been asked for comment, please respond within the time given. If you need more time, ask — reasonable requests are granted.
Legal Notices and Service of Process
For court orders, subpoenas, formal legal notices, takedown requests, intellectual property notices, and service of process.
Postal address for legal service: to be confirmed at public launch.
We do not comply with informal legal threats or requests for source identity sent without proper legal process. See the Source Protection Statement for how we handle legal demands for confidential source information. We will respond to properly served process through counsel.
Privacy, Data, and Your Rights
For data access requests, data deletion, correction of personal data, NDPR rights (Nigeria), GDPR rights (EU/UK), or any other data-protection enquiry.
Identify yourself sufficiently to confirm the request relates to your own data. We respond to verified privacy requests within the period required by applicable law (typically 30 days under NDPR / GDPR).
Full details of what data we hold and why are in our Privacy Policy.
Press, Partnerships, and Syndication
For other journalists requesting comment, media organisations seeking to syndicate UAN content, distribution partners, and academic researchers studying our reporting or our AI pipeline.
Partnership enquiries that touch our editorial workflow are routed through editorial leadership; commercial syndication is handled separately. UAN World's editorial independence is non-negotiable in any partnership.
Advertising and Commercial Enquiries
For display advertising, sponsored content enquiries, and brand partnerships.
A commercial firewall separates our editorial and commercial operations. Advertisers cannot purchase favourable coverage, exclusion of unfavourable coverage, or placement against specific editorial stories. Sponsored content is clearly labelled and editorially reviewed; see our Editorial Standards for details.
Careers and Contributor Opportunities
For staff applications, contributor pitches, freelance enquiries, and internships.
Contributors entering through our tiered verification system can also apply directly through the Contributor Portal once it is live.
General Enquiries
For anything not covered above — questions about the platform, subscription support, technical issues, or feedback on the product.
Accessibility
If you need an accommodation to communicate with us — including alternative formats, language support, or accessibility assistance — write to info@uanworld.com with the subject line ACCESSIBILITY and we will make it work.

What We Do Not Respond To
In the interest of being honest with your time:
- Unsolicited sales pitches and commercial cold outreach
- SEO, link-building, and "guest post" placement requests
- Demands that we identify confidential sources
- Threats and harassment — these are documented and, where appropriate, reported
Office and Postal Address
To be confirmed at public launch. Operational locations span Pan-African hubs and diaspora bureaus.
UAN World is editorially independent. Our editorial standards, how we verify, how we correct, and how we protect sources are documented at uanworld.com/editorial-standards.
