Beginning his career in the 1970s, Michael is responsible for the vibrant Malaysian Jazz scene today. His extensive music career since, has seen him perform all over the world - as a leader of his own group, a side man to many of the greats, and as musical director to some of the leading Malaysian stars.

His jazz bar, All That Jazz, has acquired for itself a reputation for great music and is home of the Malaysian jazz scene with many musicians and singers having shared the stage.

Since the much-awaited album, Pictures, was released in 1995, Michael has been involved in a multitude of projects ranging from composing music to dance and music improvisations.
