Gregory
Burns Gregory Burns is living testimony that although sports and the arts often seem so far apart, they can coexist on the highest levels. As a Paralympic swimmer and an artist, he has broken world records in the last three Paralympic Games while proving himself to be a world-class contemporary artist whose paintings and exhibitions have received worldwide recognition. Struck by polio as a child, Gregory has not allowed the disease to darken the colours of his life or palette. With crutches and braces to support his polio-weakened legs, he has not only stood on gold medal podiums, but also trekked through mountain summits and backwater villages across the globe where he draws inspiration for his contemporary paintings. Armed with an outgoing personality, this motivational speaker believes that the setbacks in our lives are really what push us forward and bring us strength. |
